Evaluation of Preventing Rear-end Collision System

Abstract(in English) This study examined evaluation of preventing rear-end collision system given consideration to cognitive process of driver. This study ready three systems : each of these indicates information to braking lamp. It show deceleration, braking effort and warning caused blinking. The experiment is driver on the following vehicle brakes following the braking of leading vehicle which carries the system, by using driving simulator. The result : the system indicates braking effort have an effect on rear-end collision. The reason is the system shortens the driver's cognition/decision time.
