Abstract(in English) The fender bender is an accident which is occurred by the distance between two cars being set to inadequate. This study examined psychological influence of distance between two cars in order to discuss the importance of safe distance between them. Results showed that irritation of drivers was expressed most strongly by irritation caused by being disturbed smooth run. It was also shown that the importance of safe distance between two cars was not fully understood.
