Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We tried to employ onomatopoeia as a way to input key sound for the sound database that is retrieved by key sound. It is expected that the system allows users to retrieve the target sound from the sound database system by giving onomatopoeia as a query in addition to providing a sound itself. In this paper, we introduce the sound synthesis from onomatopoeia and some preliminary experimental results.
