Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Vibrotactile displays are expected to be effective tools for presenting personal information. However, the mechanical stability of vibration is affected by many conditions such as how to equip vibrators, where they are putted and other factors. As information display, it is important to present correct stimulation stably. Keeping the frequency and the amplitude of vibration in continuos independently of the affective factors, we proposed feedback method for vibrotactile display. We used a film type vibration sensor and a voice-coil tactor that can be independently controlled it's the frequency and the amplitude. In the experiment, the feedback system that we built can keep the value of the amplitude with and without pressure. Then, we did a subjective experiment by using this feedback system. First, the results told that the rate of sensation is showed dispersion in the case of traditional standard equipping method without the feedback. Next, we found that the feedback gave some change to the sensation of most of the subjects. Furthermore, there is correlation between the mechanical response of tactor and the rate of subjects' sensation.
