Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to clarify the mechanism of communication between people, the importance of non verbal information has been focused on and researched. Recently, with the spreading popularity of ubiquitous technologies or robotics technologies, the opportunity of direct communication between people has been decreasing. On the other hand, the human sensitivity of emotion is essential to human society and to develop the technology which enables to sense human emotion is crucial. For this problem, we have made a start of developing the method which extracts human emotion from human body motion. First, we selected 6 basic emotion and collected human body motion into VTR data for each emotion. Next, we measured human emotion estimation by psychological experiment with those VTR data. As the results of analyzing the relation between psychological responses and basic human motion data by means of simple features, we found that people can classify each emotion well and such an instructive data can be analyzed with simple features.
