Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we present a novel method to estimate several quadric model surface (sphere, cylinder, and cone) parameters from a range image. First, quadric model surface parameters are estimated using Hough transform technique. Based on these estimated parameters, more reliable parameters are calculated using the EM algorithm. We implemented this method and applied to actual range data. |
