Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are researching for supporting distant communication in real-time based on concept of Real-time Human Proxy(RHP). The aim of RHP is to categorize motion sequences into pre-defined actions described as symbols, and to represent a human from the symbols. However, human representation from symbols requires a lot of pre-defined knowledge. And making pre-defined knowledge is a time-consuming job for system builders and animators. Therefore the pre-defined knowledge is to be described in a reusable and extensible form. In this paper, we improve the method of representation of a human for RHP, and propose a method for reducing job of system builders and animators. Also we show experimental results in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
