Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Authors have aimed at wearable gesture recognition without attaching a lot of sensors and without limitation of movement areas. This paper describes a method to decide in practicable time what kind of markers should be used and where they should be attached. The proposed method is designed for small and inexpensive sensors and presents valuable candidates of sensor set which should be used. Authors had examined the possibility of the proposed method by the experimental verification of writing numerals, and discussed the future of wearable gesture recognition.
