Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a digital watermark technique based on region segmentation. The technique embeds information by uniformly varying the intensity of a region whose intensity variation is quite low, which realizes robustness against geometric transformations including scaling and rotation as well as DCT coding. The technique can be applied to an arbitrary-shaped video object because it confines the embedded infomation within local area. Several experimental results are given to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed technique. |
