Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Template matching is an effective method for image registration or pattern recognition between two images. However, there are problems of matching error by of occlusion, shadowing, rotation and projection. When the number of the pixels decreases, the errors are increasing. We propose a method to prevent the increasing of errors. The information of the templates is applied. Differential pixels between the template and the input image are excluded from the template. Effectiveness of proposed method is shown in matching experiments.
