| Abstract(in English) | In this article, we propose telop recognition method that focus feature of hem. Jpanese news telops have black rim that to be easy to read for human being. We think the edge created by the hem is stable. From this view point, we propose directional feature extraction method from multi valued telop images. The experimental results shows potential of our method. |
