Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Random number generation task has been recognized as a useful task to tap the central executive. The current study illustrates an analysis model for the purpose of differentiating stereotyped responses from pure dependency occurring in the course of production. The method is referred as an "Axis model" that interprets the central executive in the integrated framework of the focus of attention(Cowan, 1999, 2001)and the current working memory model including the new concept of the episodic buffer (Baddeley, 2000). Although the effectiveness of the model has been verified through researches about English competence and WAIS IQ test, the model is still developing to account for a forward counting effect. |
