Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lasing characteristics of EDF-embedded Brillouin optical fiber lasers are experimentally discussed. The output power linearly increases with the pump power to the EDF. On the other hand, abrupt increase in the output power is observed with the Brillouin pump power. The threshold Brillouin pump power decreases with increasing the length of the laser resonator. The intensity noise property against both the pump power to the EDF and the Brillouin pump power is also demonstrated.
