Abstract(in English) | Performance of 40 Gsymbol/s-based bandlimited RZ DQPSK signals was experimentally investigated in theback-to-back condition. We have confirmed that RZ DQPSK signal with 50 % duty ratio had better performance than RZ DQPSK signals with duty ratio of 33 % and 66 %. Feasibility of 160 % spectrally-efficient WDM transmission without polarization demultiplexing has been demonstrated by using the bandlimited RZ DQPSK signals with 50 % duty ratio. |
