Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By applying the general manufacture method of fiber coupler, We developed the small Mach-Zehnder sensor melting the optical fiber. And in order to verify CMZ as a multipurpose sensor having multiple sensing functions, we did experiment on each functional assessment. First, we observed the reaction caused by touching with flat steel of CMZ as a touching sensor, and did experiment on the assessment of the touching reaction using an oscilloscope and a power meter. Next, we did experiment on the reaction sensitivity by the sensing distance from the vibratory source as AE wave sensor, and in order to verify CMZ as a sensor having the functions that can specify the direction of vibratory source, we observed difference of detected wave pattern form eight points around CMZ.
