| 抄録(和) | 技術は持続的な社会発展を支えている.一方、技術に起因した危害,事故、災害の防止、および社会秩序破壊行為等の防止は重要な社会的課題である.安全で安心な技術システムの構築には、高度な倫理観をもつ技術者の存在が基盤であり、技術倫理の概念構築,技術倫理教育の方法、社会的支援体制の整備は、緊急の課題である.技術倫理綱領や教育は米国が先導しており,我が国は米国の水準に達することを当面の目標とした努力が進められている.一方、現在の米国型倫理綱領は,米国の歴史・文化や社会制度が背景にあり,この拡張では国際化は困難であるという指摘が米国の学者によっても行われており、我が国の伝統文化に根ざした技術倫理や技術者教育の必要性があると考えられる.「技術は人なり」、「和と協調」、「勤勉と正直」は我が国の誇りとする技術者の美点であり、最近のグローバル化の潮流で忘れられつつある.今こそ伝統文化を再認識し,技術倫理綱領と教育に生かすべきであるのではないか.本稿では、技術倫理の現状分析と我が国の伝統文化に基づく技術倫理教育のあり方を考察する. |
| 抄録(英) | Engineering supports the sustainable development of the society. Prevention of injury, accidents and disasters caused by technology, as well as prevention of destruction of a social order caused by technology, are important pressing social subjects. Existence of a highly ethical engineer is the base in construction of a safety system. The U.S. is leading in creation of principles of engineering ethics and its education, and thus the U.S. is a model for Japan where the efforts are being tried to build a strategic approach on educating engineering ethics. On the other hand, the present U.S. type principles of code of engineering ethics should be based on the history, culture and social system of the U.S., and internationalization of the code seems to be difficult in its extension. We think that principles of engineering ethics and its education for Japan should be based on the tradition culture and social system of our country. "Technology is the spiritual of human-being", "harmony and cooperation", and "diligence and honesty" are well recognized as engineer's virtues in our country in the past, and it is being forgotten with the wave of the latest globalization. We think that we are requested to reconsider our culture and tradition in creating better principles for our engineering ethics and its education for Japan. |
