Abstract(in English) | AgCdO12wt% contacts mounted on a small electromagnetic relay are tested in DC30V-10Aand DC42V-8.4A resistive circuit as the make-only-contacts and break-only-contacts. In the experience, we measure arc duration, number of bounce, impact and rebound duration and some electrical characteristics, and take pictures of the growth process of the transfer pip in every 1,000 times by digital camera. At make-only-operation, all of the samples that have been experimented happen sticking. When the sticking occurs, a large transfer pip is formed on the cathode surface, and the number of bounce decrease and first impact duration increase from the initial stage. |
