Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes three sorts of measurements made on headphones to clarify most important parameters for design. Recently, the measurement using an IEC 60318 artificial ear is a practical method, known as its data repeatability. The use of the IEC 60959 head and torso simulator (HATS) is regarded as a suitable technique to get data which is similar to human ears response. The authors compared with human ears response and the measured response by IEC 60318 and HATS. Then, they carried out experiments to examine effect of acoustical load parameters for frequency response by a few typical headphones. As a conclusion, acoustical leakage affects to the frequency characteristics.
