Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Late years, ASCII Art is commonly found among Internet-based E-mail and WWW, such as Face letters and pictographic characters have no linguistic characters. Normally, ASCII Art conveys the meaning of the word as visual meaningful information, but takes on a meaning of no lingistic. On this account, we are hard to understand the right meaning of the word. The most important thing about this study is a hight-accuracy ASCII Art pattern classification to extract the ASCII Art from the sentence using Support Vector Machine.
