Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are studying a method for modeling user preference that enables movie recommendation, by using data such as user attributes, content attributes and content ratings. In this paper, we construct user preference models by four machine learning methods i.e. naive bayes, decision tree, bayesian network and neural network, using data acquired by a WWW questionnaire about movie preference. Then we show the experimental results in terms of recommendation accuracy.
