Abstract(in English) | This report introduces our researches on measurements of brain functions related to language with magnetoencephalography (MEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). We developed a method of analyzing spatial and temporal brain activations with high reliability by using both fMRI data with a fine spatial resolution and MEG data with a fine temporal resolution, and executed experiments using lines, characters, words, and sentences, and analyzed neural activation related to lexical processes such as visual-form, phonological, and semantic ones, inner-speech including prosody, and reading of sentences by rapid readers. Finally we also introduce linguistic priming experiments and their modeling. |
