Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a method for simulating infant behavior on a virtual environment. This paper classifies the determination factors of the infant's behavior into an internal factor, i.e., the physical and cognitive capabilities estimated from the infant's age, and an external factor, i.e., visual stimulus from the objects around the infant. The authors create infant behavior simulator by modeling the internal and external factors. The authors expects that this kind of simulator will make it possible to analyze infant accidents at home from an engineering point of view and to support designing a room or a home safe for infant.
