Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose two low-complexity MIMO transmission schemes using the code combining diversity technology. The one scheme is a kind of time division multiplexing (TDM) MIMO for signal carrier transmissions. The other MIMO scheme utilizes the orthogonal characteristic between subcarriers for OFDM transmissions, and is a kind of frequency division multiplexing (FDM) MIMO. Compared with the conventional STC-MIMO, the proposed schemes do not require complicated signal processing for estimating transmission channels and reception process, greatly reduce the system complexity. The computer simulations have confirmed the proposed schemes can achieve better BER performance than STC-MIMO does.
