Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | There has been considerable interest in the block transmission, such as the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) scheme and the single carrier block transmission with cyclic prefix (SC-CP) scheme. In the case of zero forcing symbol spaced equalizer (ZF-SSE), it has been shown analytically that the SC-CP system without error-correcting code has a larger bit error rate (BER) than the OFDM system for small signal to noise power ratio (SNR), and has a smaller BER than the OFDM system for large SNR. In the case of Minimum Mean-Square-Error (MMSE) SSE, the SC-CP system has a smaller BER than the OFDM system for all SNR. In this paper, we analyze the BER property of the Fractionally Spaced Equalizer (FSE) based on oversampling of the received signals for the block transmission with cyclic prefix. |
