Abstract(in English) Recently, frequency-domain pre-equalization (pre-FDE) transmission has been attracting attention for improving the SC transmission (e.g., DS-CDMA) performance in a frequency-selective fading channel. Antenna diversity reception is also a well-known technique for improving the transmission performance. However, so far the joint use of pre-FDE and the receive diversity has not been discussed. In this paper, we propose a new transmit/receive diversity technique that jointly uses pre-FDE transmit diversity and two-antenna receive diversity, called frequency-domain space-time block coded transmit/receive diversity (STTRD) for DS-CDMA transmissions. Its bit error rate (BER) performance is evaluated by computer simulation and compared to space-time coded transmit diversity (STTD) jointly used with antenna receive diversity.
