Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, a MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) communication system which realizes large channel capacity has been attractive in wireless communications. Spatial correlation and mutual coupling among array elements affect MIMO system performance, especially for an array of closely spaced elements. In this report, we consider the effect of mutual coupling on MIMO system when load impedance of each element is assumed to be a complex conjugate of the input impedance (Z^*_) or self impedance of the element (Z^*_<11>). Moreover, we provide theoretical consideration of the received power in the adjoining two elements array. The results are verified numerically.
