Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the market of wireless LAN is growing up rapidly. It tends to increase in traffic of both uplink and downlink. In this paper, we propose a novel access control scheme in order to realize the fairness of throughputs of between uplink and downlink. There is CSMA/CA such as the conventional scheme. In CSMA, the throughput of downlink is dramatically reduced in the high offered traffic, so this two way communication is unfair throughput. In our proposal, the fairness of throughputs is realized by introducing the release delay which is based on the information of the scheduled next packet in these queues. In addition, the release delay represents the waiting time to attempt the transmission of the scheduled next packet in the queue after the current packet has been transmitted. The proposed scheme is evaluated by using the computer simulations. In the high offered traffic environment, it is verified the fairness of throughputs of between uplink and downlink and the throughputs of between mobile stations.
