Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the influence and countermeasures of the attenuation through vegetation for quasi-millimetric wave band Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) system. Excess loss variation is described through several species of trees and several wind conditions. Experimental results of diversity, adaptive modulation and reflector used as countermeasures against the attenuation through vegetation are presented. Their improvement effects of transmission quality are also presented.
