Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Indoor Wireless LAN applying for Space Division Multiple Access System(SDMA) has been proposed. However it is difficult to separate signals from mobile stations by using directional pattern of base station when the mobile stations approach each other. In order to solve this problem, we consider that the antenna elements of base station are detached from each other. It is expected by the configuration that orthogonal channel responses are formed toward mobile stations. Therefore, signals from mobile stations will be able to be separated. This paper studies base station configuration of indoor wireless LAN utilizing SDMA system. It is clarified through simulation that the optimal base station configuration depends on the wall materials of room. And it is shown that the optimal element space is little bit smaller than half of the side of the room for both concrete wall and metal wall.
