Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The SDMA system is proposed in order to improve the frequency utilization efficiency in recent years. In this paper, to grasp the effect of SDMA in multipath envelopment such as an urban area, SlNR characteristics in city area propagation environment is evaluated. It is indicated through computer simulation that the fluctuation of SlNR values depend on the height of base station antenna. And it is also shown that the SINR value is decreased as the angle difference between mobile terminals become small if the height of base station antenna is more than 100m. However, the SINR does not decrease so much except for the case that the terminal approaches each other when the base station antenna is located at height of 50 m. The numerical results also show that the SINR using vertical polarization is greater than that using horizontal polarization when the height of base station is 50 m.
