Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently, GPS is operated at the frequency of L1 band (1.57542±0.02046GHz). In next generation, the frequency of L2 band (1.2276±0.02046GHz) and L5 band (1.17645±0.024GHz) will be also used additionally, in order to improve the measurement performance and the accuracy of GPS system. In this paper, we propose a new type of multi-band antenna and present the simulation results as to the characteristics of this antenna by FDTD method. In all of L1, L2, and L5 frequency bands, this antenna has the circular polarization characteristics respectively with a single feed point. As the result of simulation, we can see that this antenna has the performance characteristics with the return loss of less than -10dB and the axial ratio of less than -3dB at 3-frequency bands.
