Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a scheme of correlation-based watermarking using removal filter of local means. Firstly we theoritically examine the relation between the amount of embedded watermarks and the level of image degradation. Next by introducing the operation of expectation, we discuss the property of correlation detection for the removal filter of local means and then we explain a basic procedure of embedding watermarks into original images in time domain taking the sign of gain factor into account. Finally we confirm the effectiveness of our scheme by means of computer simulation.
