Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The combination of the sum-product decoding algorithm and LDPC codes achieves decoding performance near the Shannon limit. However, in general, the sum-product decoding algorithm is not MAP or ML. In this study, we propose a new decoding algorithm besed on controlling decoding order. Results show the algorithm can prevent error propagation, and the decoding characteristic is better than the conventional one.
