Abstract(in English) | This paper includes the improved version of the paper [HN04] which has been announced in SITA2004, and proposes another new version of RSA-based ring signature scheme. First, we have revaluated the security about the existing RSA-based ring signature scheme [AOS02]. As a result, we have given A higher security evaluation than the past one [AOS02]. Next, improving the existing RSA-based ring signature scheme [AOS02], and we have constructed a new one, and evaluated its security under the Random Oracle Model [BR93]. As a result, we have shown that a new one has equivalent to the Reverse-function problem of RSA function. Ring Signature Scheme is a digital signature scheme introduced by Rivest, et al. in 2001 [RST01]. Various kinds of Ring Signature Schemes have been introduced so far. It is known that Shnorr-Based Ring Signature and Modified Elgamal-Based Ring Sigunature have their securities equivalent to that of DLP (Discrete Logarithm Problem)[AOS02][HS03]. However, the securities of these RSA-Based Ring Signature Scheme have not been proved to be equivalent to that of RSA problem yet. That is, the security of RSA-Based Ring Signature Scheme is not tight. Therefore, to give the sufficient security of RSA-based Ring Signature, there is a problem that the size of RSA-based Ring Signature has become large. Therefore, the size of RSA-based Ring Signature has to be large for the sufficient security of RSA-based Ring Signature. In this paper, it has become able to evaluate tighter security for the RSA-Based Ring Signature. Therefore, it has made it possible to reduce the size of RSA-based Ring Signature. |
