Abstract(in English) | We have designed a new timed-release encryption, called time-capsule encryption, and implemented it. In our scheme, a time signal signed by a public agent announces a time, and a signed time signal is used as a decryption key. A signature scheme using a pairing map is the main building block. In this paper, we introduce a recovery signal which allows those who missed a signed time signal to recover the corresponding decryption key. To introduce such a recovery signal, we construct a new time-capsule encryption scheme using another signature scheme with a pairing map and extend the new scheme to include a recovery signal. |
