Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electrophysiological experiments of working memory task in the presence of intervening stimuli has shown that the delay activity in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) is preserved even after the intervening stimulus presentations, while that in the inferior temporal cortex (ITC) can be easily disturbed. In this study, we reproduce this type of working memory-related neuronal dynamics in PFC and ITC by constructing the two-layer neural field model. We also analyze the network pattern for mation underlying the memory process to discuss the conditions for reproducing the neuronal response observed in the task.
