| 抄録(和) | 本論文は広域分散のマルチホップネットワークにおいて, 2つのセルが少数のステーションを介して接続される際に生じるタイミング同期の問題を考える. この問題は最近[1]において初めて指摘されたものである. そこではIEEE 802.11系無線LANプロトコルのもとでの同期完了までに要する時間のラフな線形領域での見積もりが得られている. 本研究はこの問題に対し, 準解析的な方法で同期完了時間を厳密に与え, その結果上記の線形領域での見積もりを超えたとき, 同期完了時間が急増する場合が定量的に評価される. 以上の結果, この問題の設定において実用的なタイムスケールで同期が達成されるためのステーション数の上限の見積もりが得られる. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper considers timing synchronization issues in multi-hop sensor networks with two adjacent cells. Coalescence time in such two cells has been considered recently in [1], where linear estimate of coalescence time is obtained for the IEEE 802.11 ad hoc LAN protocol. Here we introduce probabilistic distribution of coalescence time and rigorous estimate of coalescence time is obtained theoretically under the same condition in [1]. The obtained estimate shows that the linear estimate is valid for moderate number of stations and coalescence time increases nonlinearly beyond a certain station number. From these results, maximum number of station is estimated for which two-cell coalescence time is guaranteed in a practical time limit with certain high probability. |
