Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper studies basic dynamics of pulse-coupled two bifurcating neurons with triangular base signal. The dynamics of unit neuron can be simplified into a piecewise-linear pulse-position map. The dynamics of the pulse-coupled neurons corresponds to a composite-map of the pulse-position maps of two neurons. Using the maps we clarify that the pulse-coupling can cause rich phenomena including chaos and complicated superstable periodic orbits. Our results may provide useful information for analysis of novel bifurcation phenomena and applications to efficient pulse-coupled neural networks. |
