Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A device simulation is important to design integrated circuits. Recently, they are becoming more important for designing VLSI chip as the operation speed becomes higher. Most of device simulations are based on finite element methods or boundary element methods. However, in the case of those methods, in order to obtain exact solutions, the device must be divided into many small elements and it makes the number of the equations quite large. In this study, we propose an efficient method for analyzing potential propagation in conductive plates based on cellular neural networks.
