| 抄録(和) | 画像の持つ自己相似性を冗長性として符号化を行うフラクタル符号化が,近年活発に研究されている.本報告では,一連の動画像において,時間軸方向の冗長性を直交変換によって取り除いた後,周波数成分毎に並び替え,フラクタル動画像符号化を行う直交変換を用いたフラクタル動画像符号化を提案する.従来のフラクタル動画像符号化と比較すると,ほぼ同じ情報量において約4～6[dB]の平均PSNRの向上がみられた. |
| 抄録(英) | For the image compression, various fractal image coding schemes which utilize the self-similarity with a redundancy have been studied extensively. In this paper, we propose a fractal video coding with the orthogonal transformations. In the proposed method, each groups of frames of a video are transformed into the frequency domain to remove correlation (redundancy) of a video in the time domain. Then they are reordered for every frequency components. Finally, we encode transformed frames in the frequency domain by fractal video coding scheme. In comparison with the conventional fractal video coding scheme, we obtain improved video frames at same compression rate. |
