Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We Analysis a simple A/D converters based on returnmaps. First, we introduce a basic S-A modulator and show that its return map corresponds to the rotation. Next, we present multi-step A/D converters (ab.MADCs) including a multi-step quantizer. The steady state dynamics of the MADCs can be analyzed strictly by using composition maps of the rotation. A basic implementation circuit of the MADC is presented and the circuit operation is confirmed experimentally.
