Abstract(in English) Quantum cryptosystems, which security is guaranteed by quantum physics, are promising candidate for next generation impregnable optical networks. However, there are problems to realize practical quantum cryptosystems. Temperature independence, high-speed operation, and long-time stable operation should be established for practical use. We developed key technologies to solve these problems, and have realized a high-speed quantum cryptosystem in a compact PCI base chassis.
