Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Spectral phase and chromatic dispersion in passive optical components are characterised by a novel broadband spectral interferometry based on dual-wavelength heterodyne fiber interferometer. High phase stability is achieved by differential phase detection using two lasers for tunable probing and phase tracking. This self-tracking technique allows real-time measurement of spectral phase with a low phase drift less than 0.04π. Measurement results on spectral power, spectral phase and group delay for a fiber Bragg grating and a thin film filter are reported.
