Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Stable generation of bitwise phase-controlled 160 Gbit/s signals was experimentally demonstrated using an EA (electro-absorption) modulator based OTDM (Optical time division multiplexing) multiplexer and a novel phase-correlation monitor. We also compared transmission performances of four different phase-coded 160Gbit/s signals such as carrier-suppressed (CS)-RZ, in-phase RZ, pair-wise alternating phase (PAP)-CSRZ and π/2 alternating phase (AP) RZ.
