Characteristics and Particle Movement Mechanism of toner Display

Abstract(in English) The characteristics of toner display using triboelectric charged black and white particles were investigated. Two types of black toner and white particles charged different electric polarity were enclosed between two electrodes coated with insulated layer. The black and white solid images are displayed by the switch of polarity of applied voltage in toner display cell. The suitable particle for toner display, and particle movement mechanism in toner display cell were discussed in this paper.
