Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The method of evaluating motion blur on LCD has been discussed since 2001. In the course of the discussion, Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) was defined, and several reports were already publicized. The idea of MPRT was submitted to the Video Electronics Standard Association (VESA) for review, and standardization of the measuring method is under discussion today. This paper reviews details of MPRT measurement method and it also reports the result of comparison between MPRT and a newly carried out subjective evaluation experiment.
