Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a finger pointer as a user interface of the Object-linked data broadcasting system that allows obtaining information related to an object in a video sequence. The finger pointer introduces two point detection system to omit the calibration. We improved the finger pointer to operate it more stable. We carried out experiments in which subjects pointed at a target on the screen in order to inspect the effect of the improvement. The results show that the new version of the finger pointer is easer to operate than the old one. We obtained the optimum parameters for the finger pointer through the experiment.
