Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the study on wearable devices which enable the exchange of information anywhere and at anytime is growing. As one example, an authentication system that uses a wrist watch type transmitter having an electrode is proposed. Besides, the demand of high speed data communications using high frequencies is expected to increase in the near future. Therefore, in this report, the characteristics of the electromagnetic field around the human body and its radiation were examined when the frequency varies. As a result, until 700MHz the dominant wave in the vicinity of the body is the surface wave and it confirmed that an efficient communication occurs when using the human body as a transmission channel. Furthermore, the mechanism of the frequency-dependant transmission is solved.
