Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Metamaterial is a new artificial material composed of dielectric, or magnetic, or metallic materials which exhibit novel characteristics that may not be found in nature. The material that have band-gap structure, or negative refractive index, or chiral medium is one of the metamaterials. These madium are applied to an artificial dielectric lens, antennas and microwave components, and so on. In this paper, a dyadic Green's function for a double negative slab whose permittivity and permeability are -1 is derived theoreically. The dyadic Green's functions for the DNG slab backed by a perfect electric conductor, or a perfect magnetic conductor are also derived.
