Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A circularly polarized reconfigurable antenna is presented. The proposed antenna consists of three layers of microstrip feed line, ground plane and radiation patch. The two slots to feed in the ground plane are installed between the patch and feed line to feed the patch. The microstrip feed line is divided into two branches, and the polarization can be changed by switching the termination of the line between open and short alternatively. In this paper, the proposed feeding structure for diversity operation was numerically analyzed. Finally, the polarization switching between left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) was confirmed experimentally and theoretically with more than 30dB of cross polarization discrimination.
